Depot Games: Scorch Went Bonkers
Current Version: 1.2
Project Status: Completed
Links: Web Site
Category: Action
Developers: Jakub Wasilewski
Number of Players: 5 (Split Screen)
Ports: Windows
Source Code: Not Available
Author's Description: Scorch Went Bonkers is a realtime Scorch spin-off. Instead of turn-based gameplay you get simultaneous action, with shields, explosions, bouncy walls, sharp (or stupid, settings available) computer AI and... accessibility options for the impaired (a requirement for the contest I participated in).
So, help yourself, download it and play it, preferably with a bunch of friends - the more people, the better :).
Note: The game is not really split-screen, but none of the other available MP modes (Local turn-based, Direct IP, Game server) did fit better.

Public Opinion Overall Rating: 8.2 9I miss destructible terrain, but the game is fun to play, unlike most of the competition entries. Too bad you didn't win. The level of polish throughout is great. Very nice job on the menus, especially. I love how you can change option values using arrow keys or through submenus. And the tune rocks. 8Quality graphics throughout, good sounds/music and excellently presented. A very good little game. 8Cute game. Runs very smooth too. Nothing much wrong with it except that it's not really that much fun after a while. 4.5/5
